When making a payment to fund your VALR account with ZAR, please ensure that you use your unique reference number that is shown to you when you click on "Deposit ZAR" from your Wallets page.
Please allow for up to 48 hours (excluding weekends or public holidays) for your Rand (ZAR) deposit to reflect in your VALR account. As soon as your money arrives it will reflect in your account and you will be sent an email notification.
Please ensure that you are sending ZAR directly from your own bank account and not through any third-party or bank account that is not in your own name.
If you have waited longer than 48 hours for your deposit, please check whether you did use the right reference (starting with VR***) when making your deposit. If you haven't used the right reference, please send us a support ticket, attaching your proof of payment and including a note with your unique deposit reference.
You do not need to send a Proof of Payment to VALR.
