A wallet can be temporarily offline due to multiple reasons. It may be offline for:
- An upcoming fork
- Network upgrade
- General maintenance
- Routine updates
- The wallet wasn't working correctly.
The particular coin/blockchain withdrawals and deposits may be temporarily disabled.
If a wallet is temporarily offline, we know this can cause inconvenience, but we assure you that we are always working hard to ensure we can bring wallets back online as quickly as possible.
Definite timelines for bringing wallets back online are often difficult to predict. However, you can keep an eye out on Bittrex's state page here: https://global.bittrex.com/status
Bittrex is one of our exchange partners that helps us access a wide range of cryptocurrencies that would not usually have been available locally. Hence, if the deposit/withdrawals are disabled on Bittrex, they might be disabled on VALR as well.
Note: In most cases, the trading of tokens under wallet maintenance will not be affected.
