We periodically assess cryptocurrency markets on VALR to ensure a healthy trading environment for our customers. VALR may choose to delist a particular asset if market conditions cease to be favourable due to one or more of the following factors: (1) trading volume, (2) liquidity, (3) regulatory considerations, (4) stability and safety of blockchain networks, or (5) other relevant factors.
We have decided to delist BOME and NEIRO from our platform. If you have a balance of BOME and/or NEIRO, you need to take action before 12:00 PM (UTC) on 7 May 2026.
To ensure a smooth transition, your options are:
Sell your BOME and/or NEIRO. The market to sell BOME and/or NEIRO will remain open until 12:00 PM (UTC) on 7 April 2026. After this date the BOME/USDT and NEIRO/USDT pairs will be disabled.
Withdraw your BOME and/or NEIRO to a self-custody wallet by 12:00 PM (UTC) on 7 May 2026. If your balance is below the minimum withdrawal amount or less than the withdrawal fee, you will not be able to withdraw.
If no action is taken by 12:00 PM (UTC) on 7 May 2026, we will try our best to convert any remaining BOME and/or NEIRO holdings to USDT or another suitable asset at market rates and credit your VALR account accordingly.
However, please note that this is not guaranteed, and if you do not take action by the deadline, you risk losing all your holdings in BOME and/or NEIRO.
Important note for BOME and NEIRO as collateral
Please note that BOME and NEIRO will no longer be supported as collateral or as loanable assets on VALR as of 12:00 PM (UTC) on 2 April 2026.
Planned schedule for changes:
BOME and NEIRO will no longer be accepted as collateral on Borrowing or any margin-related services.
Any outstanding BOME and/or NEIRO liabilities must be repaid before this time. Failure to do so may result in automatic liquidation or conversion of collateral to repay BOME and/or NEIRO debts.
We strongly encourage users to adjust their positions and repay any BOME and/or NEIRO related liabilities before 12:00 PM (UTC) on 2 April 2026 to avoid potential losses.
