Following the renaming of Story (IP) to Data (DATA), VALR will now support the migration of IP to DATA. IP balances will soon be migrated to DATA.
Migration details:
DATA distributions will take place from 7 October 2026 onwards. Tokens will be converted at a rate of approximately 1 IP: 1 DATA.
There will be no transaction fees associated with the conversion. Users who wish to opt-out of this 1:1 migration will be able to sell their IP before 5 October 2026 at 8:30 AM (UTC).
Please note the following important information:
- IP will be delisted from Simple Buy & Sell at 8:30 AM (UTC) on 5 October 2026.
- IP balances will automatically be converted to DATA from 7 October 2026 onwards.
- Trading for DATA will begin after the migration is complete.
VALR will handle the conversion automatically. No action is required from users at this time.
