Sometimes you may need to supply us with proof of payment for an EFT payment. It could be for several reasons, such as if the incorrect reference is used when doing an EFT.
Important: We can only accept a PDF copy of the proof of payment. Bank statements and screenshots from banking apps will not be accepted.
FNB Bank
- Log into Internet banking
- Click on the Payments tab at the top of your screen
- On the left of the screen click on Payments History
- Again on the left of the screen, you can click on Send proof of payment
- Locate the necessary payment and Click on the Recipient Name
- Select email as the method and use help@valr.com as the email address
ABSA Bank
- Log into Internet banking
- Using the main menu, navigate to:
- Payments → View beneficiaries → Main if you added VALR as a beneficiary, or
- Payments → View once-off if you made a once-off payment to VALR
- Select “VALR” from the drop-down menu and click View
- Select the payment you want proof of payment for by clicking the check box next to it and click Resend
- On the next page, enter the details as follows:
- Resend Notice of this Payment(s) to a beneficiary? = <CHECKED>
- Send it to = Email
- E-mail Address = help@valr.com
- Recipient name = VALR - <YOUR_EMAIL_ADDRESS> (e.g. VALR - me@mydomain.com)
- Click Next
- Ensure the details displayed are correct and click Resend
Nedbank
- Log into Internet banking
- Using the main menu, navigate to Payments → Beneficiary Payment History
- Select appropriate values from the Beneficiary list and Beneficiary to display payments to VALR
- Recent payments to VALR will be displayed
- Click on send proof of payment to send this to us via email at help@valr.com
Standard Bank
- Log into Internet banking
- Click on the Transact tab
- Under history and documents, click on Proof of Payment
- Select your search method to find your payment and click on it
- Click on Proof of payment
- Click on Send (the paper plane on the top right of the screen)
- Click email and enter help@valr.com
- Click send
You can create a DigiMe profile using the Standard Bank App, which may make your deposits clear faster.
Capitec Bank
- Log into Internet banking
- Go to the Payments menu
- Go to Payment History
- Select date range
- View payment search results
- Select payment to VALR
- Select I want to: Resend payment notification
- Send proof of payment to help@valr.com
Investec Bank
- Log in to Internet banking
- Click on the Menu button (top right button)
- Under My Banking, click on Confirmation of payments
- Select your payment to VALR
- Under the To, field add VALR
- Under Emal address add help@valr.com
- Click send
Tyme Bank
- Log in to Internet banking
- Go to your Everyday Account transaction history
- Click on the VALR payment. The transaction details will open on a pop-up screen
- Select "Payment Notification"
- In the email bo, add help@valr.com and click "Continue"
- Click "Confirm & Send"
Discovery Bank
- Log in to Internet banking
- Select the account you made the deposit from
- Find your VALR deposit and tap on it
- Click on the Proof of Payment button
- Toggle the option to Send Only to Me
- Input help@valr.com and click on Send
